In 2016, the annual Melanoma March in Brisbane will be taking place from West End Riverlands Park, Brisbane CBD. Located on the banks of the picturesque Brisbane Riverlands Park is nestled in the trees, just around the riverbend from South Bank. This early morning riverside event is easy and great for the whole family. Taking part is not only good for your health, but you're also fundraising and raising awareness for Australia's national cancer! You're encouraged to take part as Australia unites to fight this devastating disease.


Register from 8am, with the march commencing at 9am.


Melanoma March Brisbane is going to be packed with family fun, a mini-market, entertainment, skin check information, food and coffee, jumping castle, face painting and much more.


• MOST SUN SMART - Prizes will be awarded to the team, individual and pet who dress the most sun smart.

• BEST DRESSED- Prizes will be awarded to the team and individual person who are dress to impressed - go crazy!


Melanoma March Brisbane participants will commence from  West End Riverlands Park, head south west to Orleigh Park before looping and returning to the park for post-march entertainment and refreshments.



Getting there:

Located less than a 10 minute drive from Brisbane CBD, West End Riverlands Park has ample surrounding street parking for those who choose to drive to the event. Please be mindful of parking regulations on some of the surrounding streets. Alternatively, buses regularly service this area please visit Translink




We encourage all Melanoma Marches to practice their sun safety while taking part in this event. Sunscreen will be available at all events, but we suggest that you apply your sunscreen before leaving home. Participants are also encouraged to dress appropriately with sun-safe clothing, hats and sunglasses and remember your comfortable shoes.

As a not-for-profit organisation, these events are all run by volunteers. All profits go directly toward funding research projects national importance. If you or your business has the capacity to help with the organisation of the event (printing flyers, sharing on social media, loaning pop-up marquees to the organisers etc.) it would be greatly appreciated.
