Melanoma March Bunbury is a cruisy Sunday morning event which is easy and great for the whole family. Taking part is not only good for your health, but you're also fundraising and raising awareness for Australia's national cancer, melanoma. You and your family are encouraged to take part as Australia unites to fight this devastating disease.

Melanoma March Bunbury will start from Leschenault Inlet/Bunbury Power Boat Club before participants head out along the Inlet Loop. Melanoma Marchers will complete an approximate 5km loop, whilst runners will complete a 10km loop. Participants will return to Leschenault Inlet/Bunbury Power Boat Club to enjoy light refreshments and entertainment, suitable for the whole family.

Please note, this is not a timed event.

melanomaWA are delighted to again be joining forces with Melanoma Institute Australia for Melanoma March 2016. melanomaWA is a not-for-profit charity organisation established by Clinton Heal. Clinton and his team at melanomaWA commit their time and efforts to education and raising awareness for melanoma throughout Western Australia.

Getting there

Parking is available at the Bunbury & Districts Power Boat Club and surrounding street parking in the inlet area.

WHAT TO WEAR

We encourage all Melanoma Marchers to practice their sun safety while taking part in this event. Sunscreen will be available at all events, but we suggest that you apply your sunscreen before leaving home. Participants are also encouraged to dress appropriately with sun-safe clothing, hats and sunglasses and remember your comfortable shoes.

CAN YOU HELP?

As a not-for-profit organisation, these events are all run by volunteers. All profits go directly toward funding research projects of national importance. If you or your business has the capacity to help with the organisation of the event (printing flyers, sharing on social media, loaning pop-up marquees to the organisers etc.) it would be greatly appreciated. Please email us if you want to make a difference.
