The seaside city of Gosford on the central coast is looking forward to hosting their fourth annual Melanoma March from Gosford Waterfront. 2016 is looking to be bigger and better than ever before! This early morning event is easy and great for the whole family. Taking part is not only good for your health, but also fundraising and raising awareness for Australia's national cancer! You are encouraged to take part as Australia unites to fight this devastating disease.


Melanoma March Gosford starts at 8.00am with the walk commencing at 9.00am.


The host of this event Hayley van Elst is a dedicated supporter of Melanoma Institute Australia, and hopes to raise funds and awareness to help change the outcome and quality of life of people living with melanoma. Hayley and the team at Melanoma Institute Australia encourage you to get involved and march to one day find a cure!


Getting there

Located minutes from Gosford CBD and next door to Gosford Stadium, this event is highly accessible by car and bus. Limited parking is available under the Brian McGowan Bridge. Please check bus services on the Busways website.



What to wear

We encourage all Melanoma Marchers to practice their sun safety while taking part in this event. Sunscreen will be available at all events, but we suggest that you apply your sunscreen before leaving home. Participants are also encouraged to dress appropriately with sun-safe clothing, hats and sunglasses and remember your comfortable shoes.

As a not-for-profit organisation, these events are all run by volunteers. All profits go directly toward funding research projects at Melanoma Institute Australia. If you or your business has the capacity to help with the organisation of the event (printing flyers, sharing on social media, loaning pop-up marquees to the organisers etc) it would be greatly appreciated.
